At this point in the capstone project, each of the teams had a firm idea of what they wanted to make, but not that firm an idea of the exact specifications, which is an important part of the design process. So, each team was tasked with coming up with four subfunctions they wanted their device to accomplish, and then brainstorm five ideas on how to accomplish each. They then needed to analyze their ideas, and create 3 concepts from the most promising ones, which they would analyze on a deeper level by sketching them. Our alternative concepts can be found on our wall, in the upper left corner, but they are also more conveniently displayed below, along with our analysis and concept drawings.
